Get to Know Us
Dr. Paape grew up in Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001 with a B.S. in biology and then went on to dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he received his D.D.S. in 2006. He lived in Milwaukee after graduation and practiced dentistry for a year in a public health clinic. In 2007, David and his wife Liz made a great decision to move to Alaska. After being a dental associate in the Anchorage area for two years, he decided it was time to realize his life goal of opening a private dental practice.
Dr. Paape is a member of the American Dental Association, Alaska Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a founding member of Compassionate Dental Care International, Inc. For more information visit http://www.cdci.us.
In his free time, Dr. Paape enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, biking and all other activities the great wilderness of Alaska has to offer.
